I have been using the older and heavier version of this gun for a while. When it came time to get another one I was a bit hesitant about the magnesium housing. My arm however is overjoyed. It has just as much balls as the older version. I have never had any trouble with this gun. The Bostitch RN46 seems to be one of the most popular, and the reconditioned model costs about 5x of what the daily rental for is in my area. I had this gun for about a week. I returned it. Here are the reasons:Doesn't always fire when you pull the trigger. Yes, I would fully push the tip against the wood.Doesn't drive nails all the way. They sent me a heavily used, dirty tool. The box had dirt from the worksite on it. The trigger is loaded with dirt. They did not even try to patch up any of the dings, scratches and scuffs.
